ARTROOM
Graduates from our rigorous one year Teaching Fellowship get to explore the range of options available to them to build a career in the arts. Through monthly workshops structured around contemporary themes and led by artists, designers, photographers, film makers, architects, curators and conservators, students explore opportunities, identify their interests, build networks and hone their skill sets. 'The Teaching Fellowship leaves students at a point where they have discovered a whole new world and learnt many new skills, and they are eager to dive deeper. The Artroom is that essential space where they can keep on exploring their new found strengths, keep on growing, creating and imagining... It works in two key ways: as a space for students to continue to develop their art practice, firming up their individual creative voices. And as a bridge for older students to make constructive links with creative professionals to shape their future careers.' Ita Mehrotra, Artreach Programmes Head Thank you to our Venue partner Sanskriti Kendra, Anandgram and Programme supporter / Knowledge partner Devi Art Foundation. Participating students are currently from Aman Biradari, Udayan Care & Salaam Baalak Trust.
